SOCIAL & ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE COMMITTEE
As Unitarian Universalists we are committed to putting our free faith into action by working towards social and environmental justice in the communities we serve. Our Social and Environmental Justice Committee (SEJC) leads us in this important work. The SEJC was formed in 2011 when the Social Action and Green Sanctuary Committees merged.
The SEJC Steering Committee meets once a month, on the third Tuesday of the month at 1:00 p.m. We welcome individuals, who are interested in specific projects but who do not want to serve on the Steering Committee. Please come to a meeting or email if you have a project or idea you’d like to propose.
