UUCF Annual Business Meeting
If you are a UUCF Member, please choose one of the following options for our annual business meeting:
- vote Absentee via email by Friday, May 31, 2024 (see below)
- vote on Zoom on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at 11:45am after the 10:30 a.m. Sunday Service.
- vote in-person in the UUCF Sanctuary on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at 11:45am after the 10:30 a.m. Sunday Service.
For quorum, we need at least 98 members to vote (25% of our 392 voting members), which can include in-person, absentee, and Zoom.

OPTION 1: Absentee Voting (if NOT attending Annual Meeting)
To vote absentee, a UUCF member must email UUCF Board Secretary, Juliet Hutchings () anytime before 11:59pm on Friday, May 31, 2024 with your vote on the following:
- Minutes: "I APPROVE the minutes of the previous meeting" or "I do NOT approve the minutes of the previous meeting" or "I ABSTAIN on the minutes of the previous meeting."
- Election: "I APPROVE the slate of candidates" or "I do NOT approve the slate of candidates" or "I ABSTAIN on the slate of candidates." (You can list your approval or disapproval for individual candidates if needed.)
- Budget: "I APPROVE the Budget" or "I do NOT approve the Budget" or "I ABSTAIN on the Budget."
- CARL will update about Endowment Bylaw change
You can also write "I APPROVE all" or "I DISAPPROVE all" if that is simpler.
Juliet will reply to your email to confirm that your absentee vote has been received.
OPTION 2: Zoom Voting (if NOT voting absentee)
- If you do NOT receive the weekly UUCF e-newsletter, please email by Friday, May 31, 2024 to make sure you receive the Annual Meeting Zoom link.
- Only one vote allowed per device logged in to Zoom. If there is more than one UUCF Member per household, please log in on separate devices. If there is more than one UUCF Member per household, and you will be UNABLE to log in on multiple devices, please email by Tuesday, May 28, 2024 to discern a mutually workable accommodation. Because the Zoom "participant" number will be used to determine quorum and Zoom Polling, we can only accept one vote per participant/device.
- We will email the Zoom link by Noon on Saturday, June 1, 2024. (If you do not receive the Zoom link by Noon on Saturday, email ASAP prior to the meeting.)
OPTION 3: In-person Voting (if NOT voting absentee)
You can also vote in-person in the UUCF sanctuary on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at 11:45am after the 10:30 a.m. Sunday Service.
