This is literally a whole (small) castle inside a box. It has been put together previously and - mostly - dismantled; i.e., many sections of the castle are still joined together, so purists probably will want to go through and un-attach all the pieces before building it again. (Sorry.) Material is sort of a cushy styrofoam backing on paper, so the pieces do have definite thickness to them. As far as is known, all 1500-something pieces are included.

Native to South Carolina hand-made craftwork. The Gullah (/ˈɡʌlə/) are African Americans who live in the Lowcountry region of the U.S. states of Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina, in both the coastal plain and the Sea Islands. They developed a creole language, the Gullah language, and a culture rich in African influences that makes them distinctive among African Americans.
