Improv = improvisation = a form of theater/comedy in which the players make up a story line by responding to each other in a special way. Come to our one-evening workshop to learn (and practice) the one basic rule that makes it all happen. Christine Mosere, theater professional and UUCF member will lead the workshop. The party (food and drinks) will keep our energy levels high.

The stories of our lives are our legacy. This writing evening is an opportunity to put on paper (or electronics) one simple story from your history. Whether you write for your children, grandchildren, other family members or good friends, this is a perfect time to share some of who you are. No prior writing experience is needed - you are fully capable of telling your story in your own words. Your voice and character will shine through. We will begin by looking over documents of important historic (within our lifetimes) dates to jog our memories and stimulate conversations. We will write for one hour, then enjoy coffee and assorted chocolate desserts. We will conclude by sharing what we have written with the group. This is totally optional. Confidentiality will be respected. If you have a chance to talk to someone who has come in the past two years, I'm sure they will say that this was a moving and inspiring experience.
