Ron Baviello
Ron Baviello returns to the Blanche Ames Gallery as our featured May artist. His show, "Depth of the Heart," opens Sunday, May 6 with an artist talk and reception, 12:30-2:00. The show will run through May 27. Our gallery is located in the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Frederick, 4880 Elmer Derr Road, Frederick, MD 21703. Ron Richard Baviello studied art at East Carolina University. He worked several years as an advertising illustrator and graphic artist. Ron is a self-taught painter working in acrylics. He also is a successful computer artist and often uses the computer as a tool in developing compositions and color themes.
Ron believes painting is like a magical process, first visualizing and creating images in the imagination and then rendering them in a tangible medium. This is always a challenge and his greatest motivation. His choice of subject matter is eclectic. This gives him many different avenues to explore and to experience in developing his diverse creative works.
