Welcome Ambassadors
Would you like to help assure that UUCF is a warm and welcoming place to visitors? Consider becoming a Welcome Ambassador. It’s an easy but important job. You would agree to hang around in the atrium for 15 minutes or so after a service once a month and intentionally seek out visitors, those with red or blue name tags, and talk with them for a few minutes.
We know that typically visitors make up their minds about a new church within a very short time of entering the building. We feel our greeters are doing a good job welcoming visitors when they first arrive. We’d like our Welcome Ambassadors to extend that hospitality to the interval of time after the service and before they leave the building. Coffee hour can seem lonely when everyone is talking to someone else and no one is talking to you!
If you would like to explore the possibility of becoming a Welcome Ambassador, please attend a brief meeting on March 8 at 12:30 in the sanctuary. At that time we’ll give you some tips, answer your questions, and, if it seems right to you, sign you up.
